Music of the Philippines

Since we are talking about musical nationalism, then perhaps we need to consider our own music, the Philippine Music.

We may not know that our MUSIC is compiled by the combination of European, American and Indigenous sounds.

Our MUSIC is termed as OPM, which means Original Pilipino Music or in other quote Original Pinoy Music. This pertaining to Filipino Pop Songs. It should be composed by Filipinos and should be created in the Philippines ( but some are considering OPM performed outside the country as long as it is sang by a Filipino individual and is somehow related to our country). Somehow, it may also be written in any language.
